The Story
On the brink of finishing her mediocre video masterpiece Jody Evers comes face to face with her septuagenarian, cougar mother’s 20-something, multi-colored hair, scheming wife. How can Jody finish her masterpiece, keep her own wife from running off with a neurotic therapist and face the secrets that point to her as a suspect in a gruesome murder? It’s a soap opera filled with mystery, murder and mayhem and a cornucopia of Lesbian straits.
The Cast
Our community is rich with interesting LBGTQ people. The cast of Lesbian Straits is, in many ways, an ensemble cast. These people know each other. They have been friends for years and yet secrets abound. That is the essence of a soap opera. Weird things happen to Jody Evers and her pals. And yet, as weird as they are, each character learns to roll with the punches. These characters are quirky and funny. And sometimes they're downright mean. But that's another season.
